that is the problem with the 21st century version of the mad scientist story. It is no longer plausible that any one person working alone could create such a complex machine. This really drags my enjoyment of such stories. Ex Machina is anotger example.

Legit, you'd need to many people doing different stuff, a group to design the bones, another to test it, another to make sure they stick together, another to find the right materials... everything.

If it takes thousands of people to do a pencil with all the things that you need (wood, carbon, tint, erase, metal...), imagine a human-android
