I want to get off of kratom

I’m on 2 extracts a day. Around 0.5g pure mitragynine/day. My tolerance is high enough that regular kratom doesn’t work at all for me. I get withdrawals after about 24 hours, fever, chills, runny nose, sneezing, insomnia, extreme depression. Very nauseous during the peak. It has destroyed my sex drive to almost nothing. It’s also expensive at 13$ per dose

Weeell this might not be good advice for everyone, as a lot of people say they get no effects or don't enjoy it at all, but what I've been doing this past week since I quit kratom is I take 1/2-1 nutmeg everyday.

The effects are pleasant, soothing, relaxing, stimulating and it helps me sleep when the more sedating effects start kicking in.

How much kratom did you take? I think the people who say it doesn’t do anything took too low a dose, and therefore it didn’t hit their opioid receptors

Ahh no no, I was being unclear when I wrote that. I meant the nutmeg isn't suitable for everyone. Kratom gave me great effects, especially in the beginning. When my tolerance reached its peak I was taking anywhere from 5 to 12 grams, 3 to 4 times a day.
