I know that for curtains you need an undercut first so that the top of your hair can gradually cover your sides.

I buzzed my hair 5 months ago and now it's about 2.5 inches long. Do I have to do anything right now or do I just wait until it's longer?

Longish midface (Vinnie hacker) with pointy nose and chin. Possibly even medium to high set brows. Basically if you look like this you look slightly lower T from the pretty boy look but curtains will work on you.
