i want to give out so much love - a poem i wrote

My heart is filled with longing for someone who’s not here,
someone I can give my love to without fear.

Someone who sees the beauty buried deep within my soul,
someone who lets me be myself and doesn’t leave me alone.

Lying down, gazing at the stars,
laughing, healing each other’s scars.

Someone who feels as deeply as I do,
someone who makes the world feel like something new.

A pure heart that aches for me, as much as my heart aches for them,
a bond with someone that nothing can condemn.

someone who's an inspiration for me to be better,
someone who is worth it to write such love letters.

All I ever wanted was to love and be loved
maybe one day, I won't have to hide or pretend to be someone I'm not.
