I just had custom infraorbital rim implants and it instantly displaced my need to constantly get Voluma injected. Would recommend.

The implants completely solved the problem? Like you’ll never need to augment that area again?

Yeah, I don't see why I would. I told Eppley exactly where I got filler, so he could just overlay that on the CT scan and replace it. Basically I just got permanent filler. And filler is annoying because it dissipates slowly so you don't have a consistent aesthetic.

can we see before/after of the IO rim implants? thanks!

So, it's hard to give a before/after because I've had filler under there FOREVER and the surgery replaced it (filler disintegrates during surgery so it's close to a one-to-one outcome). Here's a comparison with a pic from YEARS ago; not sure how much filler I had in the undereye. In the before, I also hadn't had a jaw implant. In the after, the under-chin region is puffy from the scar healing, so that area will tighten up.

The IO rims were part of custom implants that had malar and zygomatic augmentation, so that's why you're seeing arches in the after pic.

Don't fillers help here???

did you have dark circles? some say infraorbital rims don't help the dark undereyes completely

they don't help with colouring you have to get them lasered for the skin to get thicker

a sun-tan has the same effect though

Yeah, no impact on dark circles, but I didn't have them. I actually still have some purplishness in the tear troughs from the post-surgery bruising even though I'm six weeks post-op; takes forever to resolve in that area.

Did voluma work whilst you were injecting it?

Also how much were the implants and we're they easy to get done?

I am extremely gay, yes.
Mirin also can you describe or provide pics of lower eyelid changes from the implants?

you say they replaced the use of fillers so for you at least under eye fillers was a good way to trial infraorbital implants?

thanks in advance

how much would that shit cost I can't find anything about it online
10k dollars for custom infraorbital implants with Dr Apostolakis (he did Looksmax25's and they look incredible)

I'm not sure, bc I was quoted for combined malar/infraorbital rim implants plus jaw implant, so I'm not sure what rim implants alone would be. $13-16k, guessing?

Yes, Voluma worked extremely well. I'd recommend trying it before getting an implant so you can preview how it would look. You could essentially replace the Voluma with an implant.

This is great news for me. I'm going to post a picture of my under eyes, can you tell me if voluma will remove my issues?

do I have to inject this shit and can I do it myself

lol no

Voluma is an injectable product that has to be administered by medical professionals.

@Win200 can I get a response bro?

If you look at my other responses in this thread, I answered this question from someone else and posted pics.
I mean mainly about if the implants/fillers raised your lower eyelids at all

I saw you answered the other question so thanks but couldn’t tell much about lower eyelid changes from the side pics

I don't think either Voluma or infraorbital rim implants changed my lower eyelid positioning. I looked at old pics and can't really tell a different, so any change is negligible.

Why don't you Cillian Murphy max though?

Use of Belotero for dermal fillers, tends to lead to less dissipation at 90-day mark post-injection, than Restylane (most dissipation), or Juvederm (less dissipation than Restylane), in my experience.
