you have no idea how much our dreams are influenced by black screens and movies, you just don't. i'm just gonna even go to higher extends and tell you that before movies and monitors, dreams didn't exist.
dreams used to be a vivid and hyper realistic visions that sometimes got mixed with mythology ( like seeing angles and shit) but it was never this weird and random and disoriented.
i can't even advice you not to watch movies because it's already too late, we would never know how actual dreams worked and was very important part of our evolution and how it would play a very crucial role in intelligence and our understanding of world if it wasn't infected by black screens.
good news is, i'm gonna experiment on my kids. i'l raise one without any monitor while the other can watch netflix or whatever.
