Education is a big one, be a foreign international student first, so either do an undergrad or masters, which is way easy in comparison to be accepted into, then pivot to finding a job in the new country that you already live in

It’s a good country if you have low aspiration. The minimum wage is far too high and the £20k investment ISA can’t be beat - honestly the best UK strategy is to simply work 1.5-2 minimum jobs for a few years, invest everything in your ISA then retire before 30.

Supermarket groceries are actually incredibly cheap compared to other western countries. I’m in Thailand right now and prices are similar.

Yeah, taxis, going out to eat, hotels, public transport are expensive but if your life goal is just to bed rot in peace all that doesn’t matter.

Likewise house prices are not problematic at all in some areas, there’s just no jobs but that’s fine if you are a retired investor.
