I was accused of using ChatGPT for my essay

I genuinely didn’t. I was confronted the other day by a teacher of mine, they were very sure that I used ChatGPT because — in their words — it was a very well-written piece, and they didn’t think I actually produced it. Brootal. In any case, I’m taking it as a compliment. I’ve never really used ChatGPT before, but having someone take your work for an AI-produced product is nice hahaha.
This means you are very high iq

Definitely pursue a teaching career as well, there’s a shortage of teachers in my country, and I think just in the world in general. And that’s right, Clavicular is a head moderator here as well. He’s the most famous user we have now.
Yeah I’m just still debating between becoming a history teacher or a social worker Crazy bro he’s actually going to build a whole career off this looksmaxx/blackpill stuff Mirrin.

Writes good enough to be confused for GPT —> Becomes a teacher
There’s a shortage of teachers, so there will be a lot of job security for me. I don’t think I’m a good writer, and even if I did decide to go down that road, it’s kind of an oversaturated business; and financial stability would be difficult to have.

You should become a professor. It's more high status than dealing with annoying ass kids
How much do you think was lost in revenue during this cloudflare outage? I think it was definitely in the lower hundreds of millions  I talked about it with randomized shame.

Would love your thoughts on it with s thread when more updates come from cloudflare.

I didn’t use any dashes in my workpiece. My teacher said they believed it was ChatGPT because of well-written it was. They compared it to a fairytale.

Yeah, I think the most improtant thing about a job is that you like it.

I’d rather work an underpaid job that I like than earning a lot but never actually want to go to work.

After all, you spend a lot of time working as an average guy.

Technically, by becoming a history teacher, you also become a social worker of some sorts. You can always opt to teach in a school that’s for delinquents or whatever, with a “tough” student body. If that’s what you want. And yeah, I’m mirin Clavvybhai too. :Comfy:

Precisely. I’ve always liked school settings for some reason. So, it’s only a natural choice. It’s funny, because back when I was in high school, I had two different English teachers and they both said I should become an English teacher as well. I didn’t want to become one at the time since I was so focused on becoming a male nurse but by the time I got into nursing school, I had already developed OCD (the germophobic kind) so I had to drop out. Cue the identity crisis. :feelskek:

Interesting. That means they only host their websites with Cloudfare.
Cloudflare isn't responsive for any outside apps, it's mainly a site protecting program.

Anyways, I'll see jasons response on it later, I'm gonna take a small nap now after school and gym :hnghn: hopefully it doesn't mess up my sleep schedule, but it's a well needed rest.

Enjoy the rest of your day gengar :feelsautistic:(y)

I’m not sure yet, but they will be high school students. I start student teaching next semester (early 2026), but only if I get an internship somewhere. Otherwise I’ll be delayed in my studies. :fuk: But I could technically make up for that once I do get an internship, even if it’s in the following year, so it’s not too big a deal if I don’t get one, though I hope I do get one soon.

Thanks, I won’t be doing much except for grocery shopping and sending out emails to schools for an internship. :Comfy:

Neither, substitute teachers fill in for the main teacher; as they are temporary vacancies. I don’t have the experience/degree to be a main teacher as of now. And I’m not a co-teacher either, because that would imply the other teacher is my equal. I guess I’m best described as a teacher-in-training. I mainly have to help out the main teacher and follow their instructions, but sometimes I will also have to provide lessons myself. In the United States, they start student teaching in their final year, but in The Netherlands, we start teaching in our first year, so we will have a lot more experience as aspiring teachers compared to them.

Hmm.. alright, maybe set up an alarm for an hour or two at most. That way, you don’t get enough rest either, and you’ll be able to fall asleep later tonight because you’ll be tired enough anyway. Good luck bhai, and sleep tight if you do fall asleep! 😴

In rare cases it could mean some sign of autism check out the nd brain and a high risk of their essay being flagged up as ai. It happens but since someone with autism’s brain is programmed in a different way to a neurotypical person they can produce ai-like work.
Pretty interesting but it has happened to a few individuals mistaken as academic misconduct

Interesting angle. Tbh, I don’t have autism but I’ve had people ask me before if I was autistic. I am pretty sure they’re confusing my OCD for autism. Even mental health care professionals do this. :fuk:

I mean you shouldn’t be the guy, that is just wandering around class, checking what everyone is doing on their computer and asking ”do you need help with that” every other second.

That’s just my opinion tho, it might help some. To me it’s just super annoying. I hope you understood this.

Right… yeah, if I become an actual teacher, I wouldn’t do that. However, they tell us that a “good” teacher should stay proactive in the class; walking around, asking students if they need help, et cetera. So, it could be that they require me to do this, and I’m not allowed to go against it. I feel like during the studies, I have to be something they want me to be, but once I’m finally done with that, I can just do my own thing, and I wouldn’t do that. I think it’s better to ask if someone needs help, raise your hand and I’ll help you out. I think if I did that during my student teaching, they would say I’m not doing a good job. There’s less freedom in student teaching as compared to being an actual teacher. As a student teacher, you have to listen to the teacher who you’re assigned to.

That sucks. I would hope that you could at least make some descisions on your own.

Imo every teacher shouldn’t be taught to be the same kind, that would make every class boring.
