Very easy to get a gf/wife in those days, I know plenty of incels and their fathers are just like them - short/bald/ugly/deformed but they could still find a wife in those days.
Life was so simple before the Internet and social media, people socialized and talked to each other immensely, because there was simply nothing else to do back then, you couldn't stay in your room and rot unless you were mentally insane.

We had internet in the 1990s. I was still a teenager through most all the 90s so I didn't really experience the Era of easy dating. My era was the early to mid 2000s.
