Science is always subject to change, a lot of our theories are built on evolution. But even if they disagree with the scientific method, the evidence FOR the scientific method is great. Of couse there is still an element of faith within science, but all of our current evidence points to evolution being real.

If we have 100 people in an island, 50% had black eyes, 50% had blue eyes. If it then turned out that those w blue eyes were more likely to mate, and black eyes had a lower survival rate, it would therefore logically follow that the proportion of blue eyes would increase. THIS IS EVOLUTION in it's most basic sense. To deny this, is to be insane.

I find it absurd we are just another purposeless creation like dogs, bats and fish. No one can provide a convincing answer to this. Even atheists admit just create a purpose and get a fucking hobby - that's confusing meaning of life with meaning in life.

Even if religion was false humans need meaning otherwise it's emptiness. It just doesn't make sense. Some people are happy to embrace this meaninglessness (dare I say you), others take a leap of faith.

We can argue about who's God or prophet is correct or what aspect of sounds ridiculous, irrational/unscientific or immoral - those are separate questions. I couldn't care less about these.
