I watched a few episodes of the anime Overlord and it hit me in the feels

[Abhorrence]

It's about a guy named Momonga who plays a MMORPG game with his clan and grinds the fuck out of the game with them but overtime his online friends leave the game one by one and move on to real life but Momonga doesn't because there is nothing going on for him IRL

Eventually the game shuts down but he refuses to leave the game and he gets stuck in the game with NPCs who start developing their own personalities and minds of their own

After watching few episodes from this series I checked my old Discord chats with my old friends from like 4-5 years ago now they all have girlfriends and things going on for them while I am stuck in my basement still with nothing going on for me and the only social interaction I get is online

And back then I was ahead in life than many of them then I got stuck in a depressive rut and ended up here so thinking back it's my fault and this hurts even more

Well I only watched 3 episodes and it was decent they say season 2-3 is even better
Idk if it's a shit anime but it hit me in the feels first few episodes
