Isaac Newton’s intellect is considered a "one-in-a-billion" or once-in-a-millennium phenomenon. He possessed a level of genius that tops historical estimates. His brain worked at the absolute edge of human capability. Historians and psychologists frequently estimate his IQ between 170 and 190, putting him in a category of cognitive rarity seen in less than 0.00001% of the population. Without any modern resources, he single-handedly invented calculus, mapped the laws of gravity, and proved white light is made of all colors of the rainbow, mostly before turning 26

I will never invent anything. I will never alter the course of humanity or deepen our understanding of the world. I'm not smart enough, my environment isn't suited for greatness. Maybe If I get lucky Ill have a good job, maybe even start a business. I'm an average intellect sheep, I'll get into some college and learn something some genius discovered all by himself centuries ago. Understand this, just because you get a good score on a test, or you learn a subject "Muh I learned calculus", you're not smart, you aren't a revolutionist, you are sheep. Centuries ago you would be sheep, and you still are. Almost all of us would be farmers and labourers without the groundwork paved for us by the chosen. The men who are born with the power to change history, the geniuses and the elite aristocrats, those are the people who will alter history for all of us. There is nothing we can do but wait for them to light our path forward.

i dont think it matters to change the entire world, i think it matters to change the small world for the people around you so you guys enjoy life as much as possible and you can confidently say you were as good of a positive influence to even a small subset of people.

and the people who can change the world will continue to prevail, while we do nothing significant with our lives.

although you definitely can change the world in a "negative way" quite easily, i.e. Elliot R with the shootings. that leaves generational trauma for the people he killed

Not the level of significance I am talking about but yes, maybe you could kill some CEO :lul: Your name will still be forgotten.
