advising you to stop drinking it would be a mistake, didn't work for me, it even had the opposite effect

what helped me move on was moderation, learning by trial and error, when to stop, when to go breathe, the bathroom, the snack bar, dance, serve drinks, whatever
you'll hit the sweet spot in no time by forgetting and forgiving the "God mode"

the realization that alcohol is literally poison that you need to take for social reasons is what did it for me
and although I still love my bourbon, I love myself and my reputation more
