Do it if you want, if you wanna do skincare minimalism, a gentle cleanser, sunscreen and retinoid is all you need, that addresses all of the skin's needs, give or take a moisturizer.the only thing i Will use Is aloe vera gel and water and some conclaer when i wanna slay
cleaner and retinoid are not for me also spfDo it if you want, if you wanna do skincare minimalism, a gentle cleanser, sunscreen and retinoid is all you need, that addresses all of the skin's needs, give or take a moisturizer.
Personal choice I suppose, some people do better with just water, I'd categorize that as gentle cleanser, as long as your skin isn't dirty you're fine. But I'd still argue it would be best if you have one lying around, on a day when your skin gets filthy, there's very little water can do about it, but for regular use using water is fine.cleaner and retinoid are not for me also spf

Where I do HEAVILY disagree is with retinoids, they're the literal Jesus Christ of skincare, be it retinol, retinal, adapalene, tretinoin or accutane, the difference between "good" skin and GREAT skin, will most often than not be a retinoid. Again, personal choice, do whatever you want, but the only thing I would never take out of my skincare rotation is a retinoid, even if it's a milder one.
No they don't...? Unsure where you got that from. Retinoids damage no one's skin, as a matter of fact dermatologists, the doctors who spent years of their lives understanding the skin and how to treat it, prescribe tretinoin to adolescents like it's nothing all the time. That is because they cause no harm to the skin, given that you use sunscreen, since they do make your skin more sensitive to sun damage, but that's independent of your age.under 18 damage the skin
good retinol that not super strong ?Personal choice I suppose, some people do better with just water, I'd categorize that as gentle cleanser, as long as your skin isn't dirty you're fine. CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum is very gentle, has a low concentration and is widely available. Which is exactly why I don't use it, I believe it was the first retinoid I ever used, but it was just too weak and gentle, I then moved on Tretinoin, and now use Adapalene.good retinol that not super strong ?
U fw Tazarotene I got some haven’t used it yet idk if it’s worth touching with clear skinPersonal choice I suppose, some people do better with just water, I'd categorize that as gentle cleanser, as long as your skin isn't dirty you're fine. If you're not used to retinoids that shit's gonna 100% peel the first 2 layers off your skin. If you haven't yet introduced a retinoid in your routine, and don't feel like going through the process of using weaker ones until you use Taz, you can just jump directly into it, knowing that your adaptation/purging is gonna last a bit longer and give you quite some skin peeling, inflammation and dryness since Tazarotene is quite strong. Your skin eventually adapts regardless.U fw Tazarotene I got some haven’t used it yet idk if it’s worth touching with clear skin
Sounds like some brutal shit ngl but needed if I wanna blastIf you're not used to retinoids that shit's gonna 100% peel the first 2 layers off your skin. The reason why I stopped tretinoin, and never considered moving on from it is because it does cause me a lot of irritation, adapalene is more stable so my skin handles it much better while looking relatively the same. This may not be the case for you, so again, if you want to introduce a retinoid and only have tazarotene, it's doable.
thoughts on bakuchiol ?CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum is very gentle, has a low concentration and is widely available. Which is exactly why I don't use it, I believe it was the first retinoid I ever used, but it was just too weak and gentle, I then moved on Tretinoin, and now use Adapalene.
Use retinol as a starting point, but always move on to the strongest one your skin can handle for the ideal results.
Nothing will happenthe only thing i Will use Is aloe vera gel and water and some conclaer when i wanna slay
Not worth it in most cases. Unless you have dry and sensitive skin, you're better off using retinoids, it is weak, weaker than retinol, and retinol is already weak as it is. This means weaker activation of RARs and RXRs, which means slower and effectively worse results. Plus that shit's usually very expensive for what it offers lolthoughts on bakuchiol ?
