I watch a lot of movies, I recently finished all the Wolf Man movies from Universal.

Yesterday I finished watching Tales of the Darkside: The Movie, and also rewatched the 1953 CBS adaptation of Gerge Orwell's 1984.

Today I watched Gangs of New York, it was too long imho so I got slightly bored of it but Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Cameron Diaz all made amazing performances.
You should watch Silence (2016) directed by Martin Scorsese

Watched The Big Short today, it brutally mogged the fuck out of The Wolf of Wall Street with no remorse, actually made me feel stuff and was super super well done. I can't comprehend why The Wolf of Wall Street is more liked than The Big Short.

Margot Robbie was in both. :feelskek:
On a serious note it was a better movie it truly captured the ecstacy of being ahead of the curve and the fear of being aware that the safety of the world as we know it will break.

Watched "Her" today with Joaquin Phoenix. Insane movie top 3 so far on this spree. I relate to the awkwardness of the main character of how he is so much stuck in his own dreams and head and always feel like he is out of tune to the outside world in what people expect of him and what he expects of them.

It wasn't dystopian if anythint utopian but he was so lonely and couldn’t fit in.

@slayer69 as soon as he thought he was special and had something unique it was taken from him. Unironically similar to Blade Runner 2049 but instead of dystopian and violent it was utopian and sensitive, every word like a bullet and each main character was a displaced man haunted by his past longing for something better something real. Both good at what they do and they make people impressed but they only do it for others. It was a beautiful movie as a cinephile it is a MUST watch. Tell me when you saw it.

Batman mogs
I liked rises the most. The soundtrack, the climbing scene, and "Not everything... Not yet" was peak.

I watched it ages ago

It’s far from utopian bro.
It’s a nightmare falling in love with a thing you don’t get to touch or see or feel.
It might be cool on paper but it’s so inhumane, the people who advocate such products are selling their souls in my opinion.

staying vary of these new thoughts and not deviating from the norm is essential and key.

The world is utopian but he lives in his own bubble that is far from it is a better way to put it. Everything is clean and healthy around him yet he struggles with himself. I could definitely see myself ending up like him.

Dawg no

He doesn’t live in a utopia

Environment and society => a product of a the people in it. Even if some group aren’t unhappy, it’s not a utopia.

That’s what the movie beautifully picturizes. The dystopian nightmare in which a human is forced to use degenerate tools to fulfil his basic need of being loved.

He is one of the misfits actually relying on it while most seemed to have ordinary relationships.
They even mentioned dating their OS was rare.

Yeah that’s the whole point, he shouldn’t have been in an environment where he was sought after to use it, hence it’s not a utopia
