I think it’s the fact that we grew up on technology, constantly texting and typing more than actually speaking, but I truly wish I could be the version of myself I am over text. I’m really articulate (if I want to be) and I have much more personality when I’m texting someone as opposed to speaking to them. I’m funnier, use better vocabulary, and just much wiser in general. I have been told this many times before as well by friends, it’s like I’m a completely different person. This is not to say I’m a complete dork irl, but I’ll say I lose at least 10 iq points in person as opposed to online.

Also my “game” is so much better over text, the amount of times I have been told that the way I express myself is so hot over text is crazy, whereas I have never received compliments on the way I articulate myself irl, only compliments on my voice.

Removing the genetic elements to be left with controllable elements if only life was that easy

Well I think I'm even less NT online but at least I can express what I feel like. Irl I can't because I'm a 3.5/10 framecel with social anxiety :fuk:

I have no friends but I expect I'd be similar

My advice would be to simply wait a moment, wait a bit longer to answer

Don't talk like xqc, take your time, (within reason)

Yes I think that’s what I need to do, it’s just bad social habits I developed over time, I feel like it isn’t so much of a problem the more I get to know someone but with newer people it’s like my brain doesn’t know what to do or say, even though I try my best to be talkative with people

I think another reason is that I was a utter subhuman growing up which makes me look at myself as lesser to other people but I don’t know if that’s entirely true because I was pretty famous in middle school (mostly jestermaxxing but at least I had friends that truly cared about me, now it feels as if I don’t have any “true” friends, it’s just all superficial)

Perhaps but even if I’m texting pretty rapidly I still feel smarter, although I’m much more relaxed so yes you’re probably right
