I've read some many stories of people finding extremely valuable items in flea market sales and garage sales. Why can't these things happen to me

Michael Sparks once spent 4 dollars on a painting he found at a flea market and at the back of the painting he found the lost original copy of the Declaration of Independence and sold it $4 million dollars. Fucking hell.

A family picked up a small white bowl at a garage sale for $3. Years later, they discovered it was a 1,000-year-old Chinese Ding bowl from the Northern Song Dynasty. It sold at Sotheby's for $2.2 million.

Also where you live, these things wont be in junk boxes. Try looking for old coins as a hobby

My mom once bought silver antique spoons for a few bucks at a garage sale, they later turned out to be worth a few hundred dollars.

True, at a garage sale you can definitely find some lucky items.
Dont think there would be something like that in a desert
