Here’s the thing, unless I give DETAILS of the crime it’s meaningless. Confessing to murders is not alone to convict you, there has to be proof of a victim, given either via name or the body is somewhere. If you just say you committed murder, police won’t do anything. Go and call 911 and say you murdered someone they won’t do shit unless you provide a name or some sort of physical evidence.

Two reasons for this, one: They assume
Two: Even if they do believe you they don’t want to run through the whole process just to lose in court so if they see you’re deliberately not giving any details that show you’re the murderer in a specific murder (rather than just a murderer), they’re not going to arrest and try you because chances of winning in trial are high.

What you’re saying is this:
I get CAUGHT for a crime and there’s ZERO evidence except me talking about how much I love murder.
Now if I said a specific name, or location, or some sort of detail that matched the victim, or gave a location to a body, THAT would fuck me.
