I want to play EU4 but I am low IQ and I have a very short attention span so it'll probably be too difficult for me to learn all the different mechanics.

I looked up Youtube tutorials and found this one but it has 7 parts and they're all like 40 mins long

I no longer have the autism required to sit through it all.

It's so over tbh.
Is Civ 5 any easier?

I suck at eu4 but just pick Ottomans and keep playing them again and again until you become pro

It's ez asf man, and when you get into it and see all the cool shit it has it becomes really addictive.

You can play as Portugal and do some historical stuff in South America n sheit, the game has shit ton of story flavour.

I'm really into games like that.
I have put a lot of hours into Total War games because they're pretty much simplified versions of EU4 with more action and they don't require much brain power.

Yeah, Muscovy is also but maybe trickier. The Ottomans start in a great position and teach you the game mechanics pretty well.

Should I watch Youtube tutorials or should I just get straight into it and learn as I play?

Both, I am an ultranoob but learnt about annexing, core provinces, man power etc and also reasons to declare war with my hours of playing. You should learn it fast with an overview on youtube and then trying out an easy nation by yourself. Remember each country is very different.

I play as Sicily / Naples and attack the Ottomans to restore the Byzantine Empire

That'll be really good practice

Play as Portugal. You are relatively safe from the major powers since you can easily ally Castile for protection. Break your alliance with England tho since they will drag you into their wars with France. You can learn about conquest and war easily since you can attack Morocco, and you can also learn colonization by colonizing the New World.
