Title. I’ve been rotting on forums and discords for 5 years and barely go outside anymore. I have no friends and I talk like a complete and utter autist online. Sometimes I feel like calling “normies” (cringe ass word btw) obscure psl insults makes me superior. It doesn’t. It just means that this place has polluted my mind and that I’m now clinically autistic.

I’m 21 now. Still haven’t talked to a woman, nevermind had sex with one. Honestly, I don’t really care much. I had my opportunities in the past and I simply passed up on them. I’m also on SNRI’s so my dick doesn’t work.

My point is: to the young lurkers and people from TikTok, leave this fucking place right now, go outside, touch grass, and be with your friends. If you play sports, have a social circle, are neurotypical, etc., there is absolutely no reason for you to be here. This place quickly becomes much more than just about improving your looks very, very quickly. It will turn you into a pariah and an autist, and despite people saying they can separate their online identity from their irl one, that’s untrue, especially once you’re deep into this shit.


Save yourself and let my story be a cautionary one. I literally went from highschool quarterback to socially isolated autistic rotter in the span of a couple years. I will never get that time back and neither will you if you continue down this same path

I’m not clinically autistic, I don’t have any of the signs lol. I’m just a loner (used to have large friend group and was good at sports), and if anything I came to these circles out of a need for attention, which tbh is probably more pathetic than being autistic lol

I don't think this forum can influence you if you don't have the predisposition to it. That's just my opinion. E.g. if I showed my friends this forum they would laugh and not even take it serious or even engage with it. Not because they "cope" or are blue pill but because the people here the way they act and write and think is so alien to them they don't even understand it. It wouldn't give them any satisfaction to be part of it.

I was similar to you btw. I grew up quite popular had a big friend group and did a lot of sports but in 20s completely changed and became isolated more and more. That by itself is a sign of slightly autistic tendencies. Not saying you are autistic fully. You probably feel better being alone/more comfort so you get attracted to it. We all gravitate to the things we feel "good" around incl. forums, subcultures. communities, tastes, etc. And the longer you live the more you will become that which you are attracted to.

You can definitely change though if you wish to but it will take more energy than to give in to your tendencies

I understand what you’re saying but I am not autistic in the slightest. Like not at all. People irl would be in shock if they found out I used these forums. Lol. My teacher in highschool even wrote on an adhd report that I was “charming and had a great sense of humor, and was good at conversations with adults/very sociable.” I’m “neurodivergent” in the sense that I have pretty bad OCD. I also have what seems like very treatment resistant depression. But autism is the last thing I have lol. Autism isn’t something that hides in your youth and then manifests in adulthood. If I had it, I’d know. This is ultimately meaningless though. Regardless of what I have, I still rotted in these shit communities and am isolated irl. Doesn’t matter if it’s autism, depression, or just being an insufferable and misanthropic human in general to blame
