I was mid-90s I caught the tail end. There are still some people who are incel my age, but I know there is a whole generation setting themselves up waiting for it as well. I'm an odd case.
Even though bebo, FB were common in my days people still went out and meet met each other. Social media didn't take up everyone's life, they were more just a internet footprint. Online dating existed but was looked down upon. People weren't so autistic. Staying at home all day and playing games was seen as loser lifestyle. Work from home barely existed. Not to mention economically it's getting far far worse because of the disparity in age differentials and income, boomers hoarding their wealth and housing. Women entering the workplace and out earning men.
I'm afraid it's going to get a lot worse for the up and coming generation. I sometimes feel like a forerunner.
@JohnDoe you say you would have it easier if you were 10 years younger but it's an easy disagree. We just didn't take the chances at the time. I'm pretty sure it would have been less if we were 10 years younger.
