Im not recessed. Surgeons told me I don't need djs, or require any bone cutting surgeries but my mandible could be a bit wider and that can only really be added with a custom implant. Fillers can also add width but they aren't good for adding a lot of mass. They only give definition and after I lost weight ,definition of jaw isn't a problem it's mainly the width of chin and jaws. That plus rhinoplasty to make my tip slightly less bulbous and wide

Im In the same situation, my dad got very angry at me when I told him about my bimax planned for next year.

I guess that's the downside of being part of a "niche" community, none outside of this community will support you for undergoing such surgeries.

With that being said, I don't see why you need it. You look decent already, and already have a promising career and a good faithful GF. Seems a bit unnecessary imo, but if you want to do it (and aware of the potential risks ofc) then by all means you should go for it. Yolo
