I no longer write for others or write for magazines. Once upon a time I had my short stories and poems published in zines or at literary art house shows in San Francisco. But I realized that my writing was contrived and I never wrote what I wanted when I was doing that. It was always written to fit into the zine or to make the reader of the zine feel immersed.

So now I just write whatever I wanted and I can be a fan of my own stuff.

I’m the author, editor, and reader. No middle man here
