Are ibs and face bloating linked? How to treat it, cause i probably have ibs, and it’s a little paradocsal. Like many products with potassium are high fodmap, many diaretics also worsen the situation if you have ibs. And i can never treat it fully, if i step off isolation diet i am already stomach-bloated.

Yes, facial bloating can to some degree be caused by systematic inflammation, which can be in turn indirectly caused by IBS. Don't worry about shit like potassium and diuretics, focus on eating a diet that stabilizes your condition, as long as your intestines aren't actively dying, the inflammation will be reduced and that will translate into your facial appearance.

Regardless, it's less about taking in a lot of potassium and more about keeping a good electrolyte balance so that you're not retaining too much of either electrolyte
