Ice cold showers not good for hair

Srs I can't think of anything else but I've been rapidly losing hair on temples. I don't experience any hair loss so not jumping on fin but I've been doing ice cold showers twice a day for 3 months.

Got more shiny hair, hair looks healthy and no dandruff. But my temples are receeding.

After ice cold shower blood flow to scalp is supposely rushed so I don't know exactly how this logic works.. I will be avoiding washing hair with ice or hot water.

I did cold showers for a few months in the summer, when I realized I was losing big amounts of hair during showering I stopped instantly. Now it became better, and the hair loss seems to have stopped.

IMO, the cortisol induced by cold showers isn't worth it long term.

neutral temp is best temp for washing ur hair imo, not uncomfortable and seems quite natural

there is no way ppl were inducing themselves to freezing cold water to bathe at any point in history tbh, ppl in cold climates naturally kill bacteria off their body with cold temperatures so they wouldnt need to shower (putting clothes in freezer kills bacteria and stench)
