Just lol at this tbh. Iceland has never really had a true socialist party running, for some time (only social-democrats). But now there actually is a legit socialist party running for congress. It's getting about 5% in the polls.

However, one of the nation's writers (ironically another leftist) did a background check on the people running on the party's behalf, and discovered to his bafflement that there are literally zero working class people running for congress on the party's behalf. Not few. ZERO.

Socialists being a bunch of bullshitting middle and upper class people isn't a secret. But you'd have thought there would be at least some. Nope. Literally zero. It's all teachers, artists, students etc. Literally the same type of person most working class people probably hate.
