Will icing your face with ice cubes etc. increase your collagen levels?

I think a few studies showed that cryochambers do. As long as it was direct ice to skin application I don't see why it wouldn't as long as you were really getting the area cold by a strong sufficient ice application.

How cold does it need to be though? I guess cold water from the tap isn't cold enough.

My guess would be ice directly to the face. I wouldn't trust wrapped ice to give enough effect. I am just applying for a couple of minutes and take a short break if it gets too painful and then hit the area again.

Dunking in ice water a few times should work also.

I used to do it to temporary reduce bloating in the face - but noticed that it gave my skin better undertones also

Not sure how a roller would do. I am not sure they get cold enough to do the best job. I think I would use ice to skin myself. I am freezing water in Dixie cups and cutting them in half to apply ice directly to the large parts of the face and using cubes on the eye area.

I'm going to try this by moving an ice cube around my face 1 or 2 times a day. I'll give an update if it works or not.
