Icing the inside or outside of your cheeks

Do you guys believe that icing your cheeks from the outside by applying ice cubes on your skin is better or worse for fat reduction than icing them from inside your mouth with a popsicle.

im 14% bf with ok bones and my cheeks are currently hollow and I am cutting.
I just want to add icing because it can really only help and at worst be a waste of time

what makes you cheeks the more "puffy" look is the muscle called the buccinators.
these are muscles in the cheeks, if you want to reduce them, I'd suggest botox.

I think inside is safer because the buccal fat pad is at the lowest layer, so the cold will hit it first from the inside before all the other fats, while from the outside, it will be the last fat that the cold will hit (if any). This might also protect you from burning away other important fats.
