I live in Oregon. The seasonal wildfire jobs here pay very well. This year I applied to one that pays $600 per day, but I didn’t get it, they’re very competitive. My plan is to apply every summer, I’ve never found a better moneymaxx that I can actually do.

The really smoky days are kinda difficult though, the air quality becomes one of the worst on the planet, and you get sinus headaches and whatnot.
