Do you think it's a common sentiment nowadays? People seem to have become very individualistic and only care about themselves. I feel the same.

Like, if there's nothing in it for me, ie no money or sex thru their existence, why should I care about strangers who aren't relatives?

I used to be a medical student, passed the first year in med school. Then I asked myself the question: Am I really going to save people? I don't want to do that, I would maybe only wanna do it for the money.

But man, fuck studying your ass off for 10 years just to earn big bucks as a doctor.
