Seeing the studies on how thought patterns are shaped by these influences you were born with / thrown into by the universe. Everything you do is filtered through a lens; the lens is invisible because you’re looking through it, and everything behind that went into shaping the outcomes is undetectable to you by nature. And of course the physical aspect. I realized there’s no reason to associate shame with my actions or existence because I was just thrown into making them. I wish I had higher iq so I could understand how this can’t be true. But it feels like the answer to everything.

Maybe this way of thinking is all just because of a biochemical state, like a lack of serotonin or excess glutamate. But the paradox is if that were true, it would prove predeterminism even further.

Genetic brain structure + formative experiences + yesterday = tomorrow

Because what else could possibly constitute what you do tomorrow?

i’ve been deeping this recently

i’ve slowly been accepting and comforted by the fact that things aren’t good or bad

they just are, you know?

all my life

the mostly ‘bad’ experiences and the few ‘good’ ones are all just moments that are shaped by the genetics i was given

i have high neuroticism, i was born with it

a lot of these ‘bad’ experiences i’ve had i believe have been overplayed simply because im more sensitive to bad things so it turned out worse for me than what it might’ve for most others

all this time i’ve wasted

all the stupid, avoidable mistakes i’ve made

i’m slowly growing as a person and understanding that these experiences are just shaped by who i am

and are not inherently ‘bad’

i think the quicker we accept ourselves

and accept everything that comes our way

good or bad

the quicker we’ll be content and fulfilled in this life

I relate to this a lot

My neuroticism is 99th percentile both because of the way I was raised and the genetic brain structure my parents gave me

And then it compounded itself as I went out into the world in this state and attracted more negative experiences like a magnet, bolstering my mental state further

But there was no other way it could’ve played out

Any other outcome would have to be caused by some difference in input

The answer is probably some kind of acceptance as bluepilled as it sounds

yeah

i think from our conversations

i think we just feel and think much more than needed

and torment ourselves using morality

telling ourselves we were wronged and unlucky

yes being born inferior and as a result leading a depressing life is sad

but it’s just the way things are

we have the capability to try and turn our life in a better direction

or to continue on the same path

life really sucks

but with each day deep down i feel like it doesn’t really matter if it’s good or bad

i’ll slowly accept the things i cannot change

and change the things i can

and finally stop fretting about things on this meaningless rock

because truly, being a subhuman or being a chad

it really doesn’t matter in the end
