Ideal Chin Projection

How do we feel about ideal chin projection? Recently, I have started to lean towards preferring a chin that is place in line with or 1-2mm behind the lips. It gives the appearance of a stronger midface especially when combined with a deep mentolabial angle. In my opinion, the chin(from the side) shouldn't draw too much attention. e.g Barrett, Teixeira. Thoughts?
