Why I Made This
I made this guide because most people usually do or cannot find the ideal facial harmony as this is a very important aspect of attractiveness.

Total Face Length
The total length of an adult face, measured from the hairline to the tip of the chin, varies among people but usually falls between 18 and 20 centimeters (7 to 8 inches). This length is generally divided into three equal vertical sections, creating a sense of balance and harmony.

Vertical Proportions
The upper third of the face extends from the hairline to the top of the eyebrows and ideally measures about 6 to 6.5 centimeters (2.4 to 2.6 inches). This part determines the forehead's height and ensures it is proportional to the eyes, nose, and mouth.
The middle third stretches from the eyebrows to the base of the nose, also around 6 to 6.5 centimeters. It includes the eyes, the bridge of the nose, and the cheekbones. Well-defined cheekbones in this section improve overall facial attractiveness.
The lower third reaches from the base of the nose to the chin, maintaining the same ideal length of approximately 6 to 6.5 centimeters. This section holds the mouth, jawline, and chin, with a slightly forward-projecting chin aligned with the lower lip to create a balanced lower face.

Horizontal Proportions
Horizontal proportions are just as important for facial harmony. The width of the face across the cheekbones generally ranges from 13 to 15 centimeters (5 to 6 inches) in average adults. The eyes are placed about halfway down the face, with the distance between them roughly equal to the width of one eye, around 2.5 to 3 centimeters (1 inch).
The nose, measured at the nostrils, aligns with the inner corners of the eyes and also spans about 2.5 to 3 centimeters. Its length matches the middle third at roughly 6 to 6.5 centimeters. The mouth ideally aligns with the distance between the pupils, measuring around 4 to 5 centimeters, with the combined height of the upper and lower lips around 2.5 centimeters.
The ears are positioned so their tops align with the eyebrows and their bottoms align with the base of the nose.

Ratios for Facial Harmony
Facial harmony can also be assessed through specific ratios. Each vertical third should make up roughly one-third of the total face length, while the overall face length to width ratio ideally approaches 1.6, in line with the golden ratio.
In the lower third, the distance from the base of the nose to the upper lip should occupy about one-third of that section. Additionally, the distance from the eyes to the mouth should closely match the distance from the forehead to the eyes, maintaining balanced vertical proportions.

Example of an Average Adult Face
For an average adult face measuring 19 centimeters from hairline to chin, the upper, middle, and lower thirds each measure about 6.3 centimeters. The width across the cheekbones is around 12 centimeters. Each eye measures roughly 2.5 centimeters wide, with the same distance between them. The nose width is 2.5 centimeters, and the mouth spans 4.5 centimeters. The combined lip height is approximately 2.5 centimeters.
These measurements serve as ideal guidelines for understanding facial proportions, though natural variation, ethnicity, and individual traits influence what seems harmonious and attractive.

solid guide. the bit about the 1.6 ratio is the standard for harmony, but most people don't realize how much the midface ratio carries the whole look.

Why did this flop:feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy:

no problem. for sure, a compact midface is what separates a gl'er from a normie.
