they're right, mechanically speaking, the lower the angle of the gonion the better the hinge function of the mandible and thus stronger bite.

but in reality most people their ramus is too short to pull off a low gonial angle and they'd end up with short face syndrome or no chin.

I think i pulled off a 90 degree angle but my skull looks a bit on the wider side ill like to pm pics if thats ok
