As many as you feel like or can afford tbh, it's not like you have to pay some penalty depending on how many you have. I've gathered 14 over the past 5 years (plus tons of samples), bought by me or as gifts, and I use all of them on different occasions and seasons and depending on how I feel, they're like clothes. But I think 5 is fine. One for the day, one for the night generally, one for the club specifically, one for the office, one for dates. 4 works too. There's some crazies who have like 50-80, whole shelves filled.
