Protestantism basically doesnt believe the church is important and preaches that we have salvation through belief alone without any works and is individualist

Catholicism has some stuff I don’t believe is that important like the rituals and idea of purgatory

But it’s the denomination that was literally started by Saint Peter who knew Jesus 2000 years ago while Protestants were led by some random guy only 500 years ago
