Wouldnt there color be in the middle? like a lightskin? It doesn't work like that because albinism is a recessive gene, Its either the kids going to also be albino or just black
The person with Albinism will still have the genes of their ancestors skin tone, its just that they cant express it. So most likely the kid will be black or in rare cases also albino. Not mixed.Wouldnt there color be in the middle? like a lightskin?
well in the case the kid comes out albino the other person also has to have the mutation which is not what im talking about. The person with Albinism will still have the genes of their ancestors skin tone, its just that they cant express it. No, I said that the person with albinism still has the genes of melanated skin which aren't being expressed. The melanin is still there but it is being eliminated/filtered by the body. Thats why most cases of Albinism happen as splotches of white skin that overtime become bigger and bigger.well in the case the kid comes out albino the other person also has to have the mutation which is not what im talking about.
Im talking about strictly the skin color of the child. Yes i know the kid wont be "mixed", but skin color wouldnt be full dark, the child would come out like black people say lightskin no?
wait I confused albinism and vitiligoNo, I said that the person with albinism still has the genes of melanated skin which aren't being expressed. Incorrect, the genes arent just "not being expressed", the body genes themselfs are defacted. No, I said that the person with albinism still has the genes of melanated skin which aren't being expressed. Yes the bodies genes are defected but its still just a recessive gene. the expression stops from the proteins destroying melanin. Also yeah I confused albinism and vitiligo because I thought that it was a specific more common subtype of albinism. But apparently one is due to faulty immune system and the other you are born with the genes. The people with albinism still produce melanin but their body destroys it, you can look it up. The kid will still end up dark skinned. Its impossible for the child to come out mixed race unless the mom's a whoreIncorrect, the genes arent just "not being expressed", the body genes themselfs are defacted.
"Thats why most cases of Albinism happen as splotches of white skin that overtime become bigger and bigger" this is vertigo, not albinosem
They should just be black as the albino gene is presumably recessive idkare those the original lightskins/mulattos?
