If Christians and Muslims believe that babies automatically go to heaven when they die, then they should support abortions.

Children go to heaven in both cases according to Christians and Muslims

They can always ask for forgivness, god would understand wouldn't he? After all, sending your child to heaven is a pretty selfless act.

Islam actually allows for abortion to happen under certain circumstances. Namely, if the mother-to-be would be in a grave danger (i.e. she could die from complications when giving birth) or if the woman in question has been raped (actually raped, not “Oh I regret having sex with this guy, I was ‘raped.’”). But if not for these two reasons, then abortion isn’t allowed as there is no valid reason to take another life.

But the baby was not meant to die, that's why it's not a good thing to do.

Interesting
I am not sure about this, but I think that rape and endangering of the mother are not that common of reasons for abortion. Most cases are due the financial reasons and simply "not wanting" the child.

You imply modern Christian and Muslims or even Jews view god and his mercy in the same way. Some Christians afaik believe you can sin and god will not punish you even if you don’t repent while other followers of religion do not believe in this. Also Abortion has strict rules in religions like Islam afaik so no killing a child to send it to heaven wouldn’t be a valid excuse.

If she has sex outside of marriage, fell pregnant and killed the child it would have been done for her own reasons such as the child forcing her to change her life and responsibilities. And if it was in marriage then she would have no reason to kill the child.

I’m not a religious scholar or anything lol so don’t take my word on religion as fact.

Rape happens a lot more than you think. Remember the Rohingya genocide? Thousands of Islamic women were raped by Burmese Buddhist soldiers and civilians. Sadly, they also gave birth to thousands of such rape babies. They didn’t opt for an abortion although some wanted to kill their babies after they were born. Understandably so.

If fetus has disease then it should be aborted in any circumstances and im saying this as a blackpilled catholic. However abortion should be banned if fetus is certainly healthy

Not what the catechism teaches, it is absolutely never allowed without exception. And infant souls that do not receive baptism do not go to Heaven according to the teaching of the Church, St. Thomas Aquinas teaches that they are in a state of perfect natural harmony but cannot ascend because they have not received the sacrament of water baptism.
