if I be serious for a min, is beauty mostly created by society?

If I can be fucking serious for a minute, I think everyone has their own kind of beauty. The idea of a "perfect face" mostly comes from the standards society creates. Every generation has different trends, and what people find attractive changes over time and between cultures. That doesn't mean attractiveness isn't real, but it does mean a lot of what we call "beauty" is influenced by the world around us. If you were born in a different place or a different time, the traits people praised could be completely different.

Beauty is still subjective to a certain extent so yh I agree the standard changes based off of what people see. Also sometimes people will be influenced by others to believe a certain feature is "beautiful" simply because others say so or the people they are attracted to have those features in common. But I think at the end of the day if you consider the biology, people will always find good health indicators attractive since they want to reproduce with a healthy partner so I think beauty isn't completely influenced by society.
