If i bulk on highfatlowcarb but not ketosis will i just gain fat?

If 50+percent of my intake is from fat sources but I still get in 100-200 carbs a day would this be bad? Would I just gain fat?

What's the best macros to max height?

Your potential genetic height will be reached as long as you have proper nutrition. You don't need excess calories to achieve proper nutrition. The only possible way to change your genetic height would be through something @Extra Chromosome came up with.

I'm going to be taking mk677 as well

I'm 20 and am still growing, I want to max out height gains for 1 more year
But if I'm not in ketosis will my body still burn fat sources?

Went from 169 to 175 in the span of a year, if I get to 180 I'll feel human, 185 is goal

Damn, I'm a bit taller than you and I'm 15. You are growing though so thats a good sign. You might wanna get your growth plates checked to see your potential, and then continue from there. I'm trying to hit 6'0" myself.

It should be obvious from the diagram what is happening (spoiler for mild retardation: yes. The body is constantly burning, as well as storing, fat)

keto is a dumb meme unless you have epilepsy or for some strange reason find it impossible to control your eating unless you give yourself orthorexic rules and obsessive principles to follow. Calorie matched, exact same weight loss outcomes as any other diet.
 
Doesn't really matter where the calories come from it's all about the deficit. You need a certain amount of fats as a natty to produce testosterone though. Never do a low fat diet as a natty.

Yeah but you can probably cut for longer on keto (or at a higher deficit) before crashing your test levels.

1g protein = 4kcal
1g fat = 9kcal

fat 2.25x as calorically dense as protein and carbs. despite that, i'm on a 10% carb, 50% protein, 40% fat diet at around 2330kcal daily.

sidenote: alcohol has ~7kcals per gram in it's purest form. (Powdered alcohol), so please no one say "how can alcohol be measured in grams, it's a liquid etc etc...

Stay away from alcohol, hidden calories.


BTW: real ketosis only works when you fats are really high with significantly lower protein and close to zero carbs.
 
I eat around 180g of carbs a day which is only 25% of my daily diet. That's high carb for you because you are small.

Yeah but also fat is a lot more satieting than carbs. Of course if you eat avocados its gonna be fine just be sure you are in calorie deficit or maintance

i can go trough 1k cals worth of pistachios (like a little over 100g of pistachios) and still be hungry

not worth it
