if i feel 0.025% tretinoin is working to slow, should i consult my dermatologist abt moving up to 0.05%

like ive been on it since january, ive seen some improvement, but i figured out in early september i was using it wrong and im supposed to use a pea sized amount on my whole face what i was doing was putting tretinoin on the acne-areas and covering it up in tretinoin, now that im doing it right i was wondering if i should move up to 0.05% bc its been like 9 months now and im still not done

you most likely will have another purge especially if your going from 0.025% to 0.5%

0.5 will take less time yea but probably not by much, only switch if your finding 0.025 ineffective
