Don't do surgery it's too risky and dangerous

im getting bsso and genio but its not risky at all imo. but what this guy is showing looks hella dangerous

My nasal height is too short and I have anterior open bite. Instead of getting lefort 1 and being dogmaxxed from it, I could get lf2 instead.

These surgeries won't ascend mtns, you need to have brains in order to realize, that big ass implant and maxilla movement is insanely low ROI in comparison to soft tissue work + medium surgeries

yea, I guess you're right. Buw the problem with a lower eyelid retraction is that it doesn't solve the primary cause of the scleral show in the first place, which Im pretty sure is due to recessed infraorbital and a flat zygomaticomaxillary arch. In normal faces the zygos are higher and thin but in mine they are flat, recessed and "low"

why not? If they are saddled that gives the lower eyelid support, which should get rid of sceleral show, correct? Or does it only influence the eyebags. If not wouldn't the malar implants tighten the skin also, leading to no scleral show.

Because fixing the cause won't fix the problem. You eyelids were in certain shape your whole life, depending on soft tissue quality and bones, why would it become good overnight? yes, you will get some under eye support, but they won't look good unless you fix specifically them

It's not, you just shouldn't focus on sclera show alone while making a decision. Implants will decrease it, but by the end of the day you want to have a tight eyelid, not just bones with loose skin.

When a lefort 1 is done they only move the lower part of the maxilla. This leaves the upper part recessed. If you look at a dog or monkey the upper part of his face is backwards and his mouth is forwards. It's not too bad but I wouldn't say it's ideal either

Looking dogmaxxed is better than having that underbite appearance due to a weak/downgrown maxilla. What do you think about a high cut LeFort 1? I understand what you’re saying though. I just think LeFort 2 isn’t very cosmetically done by surgeons. Unless you’re actually deformed or have issues with breathing. If you do have issues with breathing; those health surgeons don’t take prioritize facial aesthetics much.

It will give more paranasal projection i think. It might give you more midface projection maybe. Also there might be different outcomes when it comes to the midface. Don't forget there are also many variations of lefort 1 because every patient is different. One person might need a CCW rotation, others might need a downgraft. Overall it might just come down to the situation.
