if i took 10 ius of novolin r then stopped what would happen

taking novolin r by itself 5ius pre workout + carbs, intra workout dextrose, 5ius post workout with carbs + fat free protein source. what would happen if after a few weeks of taking novolin r or a few months i js stop? would anything happen or do i gotta cycle off
