The term Hispanic usually refers to Latinos who are Spanish/ native mestizos

But what about a polish/ Portuguese native mestizo that can’t be Hispanic I’m not Spanish

Yeah I still don’t know if my grandfather was ethnically polish or German since he was born in the parts that used to be Germany during ww2 first language was German, and he was an orphan after but adopted by a Polish family and then they immigrated to Brazil
