It sounds good on paper but I never see progression from actual users on their skin after Retin A

because if you are young you already have good collagen levels, collagen starts to drop around 25 yo(from various sources). If you stay around the sun for too much though you will decrease it and other pollutions such as cigaretes will decrease it.
Young = increased collagen, skin turnover and elastin; Old = the opposite.

I know, Retin A in theory would only make it way better. A god among men

My question is, why is there never any results here despite it being praised as a miracle tropical

Im almost 27 yo, have been applying tretinoin since 21-22 just about everyday. A lot of my peers have fine lines around the eyes and deeper forehead lines compared to me. I don't have signs of aging around my face. So yeah tretinoin (along side with microneedling and mild to moderate peels) is very good for anti aging. Tretinoin helps against aging, blemishes/hyperpigmentation and of course clearing skin of acne.

Skincare is mostly to
1)slow down/reverse the effects of aging
2)Fix skin issues like blemishes/hyperpigmentation/acne.

Most people on this website are young without major skin issues such as acne. Retin will never make a difference for them.
