Title. An investor or venture studio approaches you with an offer. They want to make you the Head of Engineering / Technical CoFounder for a new venture.
But this one is unique. You get a massive budget/runway with a very high personal salary. You also have complete liberty to hand-pick and hire your own engineering squad from scratch. Total autonomy. No micro management, no legacy tech debt, and a completely free hand on architecture and execution.
The specs are intentionally vague. They don't care what stack you use or how you build it they only care about profit within a strict time frame and because you also happen to be a loud mouth that is you aren't just a code monkey they also want you bridge positioning in the market and product strategy. Things an engineer typically does not do.
Now my question. Could you pull it off and if you do what is your immediate playbook look like because there's 0 hand holding involved?
