No it doesn’t make them look cool or high status

Most humble and polite people follow back everyone who follows them (if they know each other irl) + famous people and pages they like

So just by doing that, as a non
-famous person, your following should usually be at least a hundred above your followers

I have it as a literal nobody with 0 posts because I used to follow then unfollow when i was 13 and retained, still a viable strat but i think it's harder now. But yeah NT people are within a few hundred unless they are girls or chads
