If surgery is 3/4+ years out still (brutal), am I stupid for keeping the funds all in a HYSA and not in the market?

Talking about 30k now, but it will be growing by 15k+ a year via wagie maxxing

I know on paper I’d be losing out on investment gains but it’d be brutal to get close to surgery then suddenly there’s a crash and I can’t afford it anymore

I’m only getting a paltry 3.2% in the HYSA rn
