removing reactions as a whole would be a big mistake, but removing the reputation system (as in the number on your profile) would be 100% fine to me, and would probably make the forum better, because no autists will be obsessing over imaginary numbers

I do not care for my rep count, I believe it is an irrelevant component to give some an ego just because they have a higher 'rep count', much like money.
