Trust me, location wasn't a problem. I can only attribute it to pics as everything was fresh and later on I created another fish that got 99+.

All u can find is that tinder bans number or IP but then u can’t make an account in that specific number or ip adress

The ppl above make some good points, but i would be stunned if a company as big as tinder did not have some sort of photo storage capacity, algorithm or artificial intelligence that can recognize individual faces. I mean photo verification is enough proof that have they some sort of photo storage capacity/ ai recognition. What do you think they do with the photos and your face once/ if you get verified? Now think to yourself what they are doing behind the scenes to maximize profits. Its all about money in the end. The more you can incentivize men, who outnumber women on tinder 5:1 (prob more now) to buy tinder gold and more for better results the better it is for your company. That being said there's no way to know for sure. This is coming from someone that did good on tinder, but it seems to be really hit or miss now for even some rlly good looking users, especially the ones that have had tinder in the past and tried to make a new account again, even with new IP and sim card. Many people who ran him and shit results I suspect it’s because they used same phone number and device. But it could be just that they shadowbanned his pics, but it alone wouldn’t explain why sometimes people will run the same photos and it will or will not produce same results. Just think about it - the algorithm is not selective - all maherfishes with same pics at least should’ve been doing poorly.

The photo verification part is true in a way but it’s not as precise as it sounds like it is. First, they claim to delete all pics they use for AI photo verification, although as you said it could all be used behind the scenes in some way. Second, the quality of the AI isn’t pimeyes tier, russiancel managed to verify arvid for example and they look significantly different to the point that they wouldn’t be able to specifically be able to pinpoint one face for shadowbanning if the technology they used was the same.

But yeah. In the end we don’t know for sure. The part about users remaking accounts and doing worse even after a hard reset is worrying to say the least, so it could definitely explain the use of some facial recognition AI. But I dunno.
